The Archdiocese of Milwaukee and more than a dozen religious congregations and other nonprofits are sponsoring a benefit concert to help young adults meet the high cost of renewing their Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) status.

“Keep Our Dream Alive” will be held Sunday, October 21, at 2 p.m. in St. Joseph Chapel. Two groups from Milwaukee’s acclaimed Latino Arts Strings Program will provide entertainment. Proceeds from ticket sales and donations will be used to assist young adults to meet the $495 cost of renewing their DACA status for two years. Three DACA recipients will share their personal stories with concert goers, and a reception will follow the concert.

Tickets are $20 and will be available at the door or may be reserved in advance.
