Our Lady of the Angels Convent, co-sponsored by the School Sisters of St. Francis and the School Sisters of Notre Dame, is committed to serve our community members living with memory loss by providing quality, specialized, person-centered care in a compassionate and enriching environment.
The convent offers an environment in which each sister experiences love and support, is encouraged to participate in activities based on her interest and ability, and has opportunities to deepen her relationship with others and with God. Each Sister Resident enjoys the privacy of her own room and bathroom, and has all of her health and physical needs met.
Pastoral care and spiritual opportunities include Mass or Communion Service, Rosary, Morning Prayer, sacraments of Reconciliation and Anointing of the Sick, an annual retreat and Jubilee celebration, scripture study, and area community meetings. Other opportunities abound as well, including physical exercise, sensory stimulation sessions, games and parties, hair care, massage, movies, TV and computer availability.
